The oak it stood so statuesque,
in the meadow there.
Quiet was it's beauty,
a sight for all to share.
Breathtaking in its splendor,
dressed in red and gold.
"Look at Me", it sighs aloud,
"My glory do behold".
"A home I am to many,
for them the perfect choice.
Come stand beneath my branches,
and hear the songbirds voice.
I will be your shelter,
I will shield you from the rain.
For when the rain has stopped my friend,
You will feel the sun again.
Yes I have come full circle,
on this you can depend.
I span the space between heaven and earth,
The rings of life within".
