   Spirit of The Sky

Guide my memory to the places,

     I have already been.

Guide my eyes to the sights

               I have yet to see.

               Guide my feet in search,

               of he whom I seek.

               Guide my love,

for he must find my heart.

Guide my spirit as it stumbles,

               let it not fall.

Guide my soul as you soar

               through the morning sky.

               Guide me Great winged one,

               on this my final journey.

High

       Ripples on The Water

I wish you could take the time to see,

beneath the ripples on the lake.

The living that is going on

with each and every breath I take.

My hopes and dreams are floating there,

just out of your view.

Just touch the surface,

skip that stone,

and they will be shown to you.

I will share with you my special thoughts,

a glimpse of me you will see.

That one unique and different soul,

who I will always be.

Just skip the stone and look below,

my heart is waiting there.

Just look beneath the ripples,

for the treasures if you dare.

Soul Mates

The vision danced in my head,

but the words are lost to me.

I am saddened by that.

I don't need those words,

however to feel our connection.

You have been with me for centuries

You will walk with me through eternity.

We have danced this dance

since the dawning of time.

Not always as human.

We have been,

creatures of earth,

water, and sky.

Forever bound by the spiritual

connection we share.

We are protected by strong medicine.

It enables us to overcome,

and rise above mans limitations.

This is our time,

brief though it may be.

For we are the same,

in body and spirit

this meeting.

My mortal body has ached for you,

but I needed my spirit to survive.

I give it now to you.
